Post-Graduation Employment Information and Support

This page provides comprehensive post-graduation employment information and support for graduates of Elevare™ Career Institute. Our aim is to ensure that you are well-equipped to pursue your chosen career path and have access to the necessary resources to succeed in the job market.

We recognize that the transition from education to employment can be challenging, and we are here to help every step of the way.

Career Services and Job-Search Assistance

As part of our comprehensive educational programs, we offer a dedicated "Job-Search and Resume Writing" course. Led by our Student Liaison and Placement Coordinator, Mary Rees, this course is designed to help you craft an effective resume, develop robust job search strategies, and prepare for interviews. While our job search assistance previously extended on a lifetime basis, please refer to the most current program guidelines for up-to-date details on support offerings.

In addition, our Career Services page provides a form for graduates to request further assistance if their initial post-graduation employment opportunities do not meet their expectations.

For more details, please visit our Career Services page.

Repayment Assistance Program (RAP)

In addition to our employment and career support services, Elevare™ Career Institute provides information and guidance on the Repayment Assistance Plan (RAP) available through the National Student Loans Service Centre (NSLSC).

Purpose: RAP is designed to help borrowers experiencing financial hardship by reducing your monthly student loan payments to an affordable level based on your income and family size.

How It Works:

  • Stage 1: If you are having difficulty making your regular payments, you can apply for RAP. Under Stage 1, your monthly payment is recalculated to an "affordable payment." Any interest on the federal portion of your loan that is not covered by your reduced payment is paid by the government for a period of up to 60 months (or up to 10 years after leaving school, depending on your situation).
  • Stage 2: If financial difficulties persist beyond Stage 1, the government will begin paying down both the remaining principal and any outstanding interest, ensuring that your loan is repaid within a maximum period (typically 15 years).

Reapplication: To remain eligible for RAP benefits, you must reapply every 6 months.
