Before program start date, institution receives a notice of withdrawal: |
- No later than seven days after student signed the enrolment contract.
- Before the program start date.
| Institution may retain lesser of 10% of the total tuition and fees due under the contract or $250. Related fees include: administrative fees, assessment fees, and fees charged for textbooks or other course materials. |
- At least 30 days before the later of:
- The program start date in the most recent Letter of Acceptance (international students)
- The program start date in the enrolment contract.
| Institution may retain the lesser of 10% of the total tuition and fees due under the contract or $750. |
- More than seven days after the student and instition signed the enrolment contract, and
- Less than 30 days before the later of:
- The program start date in the most recent Letter of Acceptance (international students)
- The program start date in the enrolment contract.
| Institution may retain the lesser of 10% of the total tuition and fees due under the contract or $1000. |
After program start date, institution provides a notice of dismissal or receives a notice of withdrawal (applies to all approved programs, other than distance-education-only programs): |
- After the program start date, up to and including 10% of instruction hours have been provided.
| Institution may retain 30% of the total tuition. |
- After the program start date, and after more than 10% but before 30% of instruction hours have been provided.
| Institution may retain 50% of the total tuition. |
- After the program start date, and 30% or more of the hours have been provided.
| No refund is due. |
OTHER REFUND POLICY REQUIREMENTS: |
- Student is deemed not to have met the institutional and/or program specific minimum requirements for admission through no misrepresentation or fault of their own.
| Institution will refund all tuition and fees paid under the contract, less the applicable non-refundable application fee. |
- Student is entitled to 100% refund of any as-yet to be received consumables that have been pre-paid.

- Student must return any equipment received free of charge unopened or as issued within fourteen (14) calendar days; and if the student fails to return the equipment as set out above, the institution may deduct the reasonable cost of the equipment from any amount to be refunded to the student.

- Refunds owning to students must be paid within thirty (30) calendar days of the instition receiving or issuing written notification of withdrawal and all required supporting documentation.
